BP Statistical Review of World Energy 2002 (www.bp.com  www.mckinsey.com)

This link contains very useful information about the world energy and a unique statistical review about oil, natural gas, and coal and their production, consumption, reserve and pricing.  Other statistical reviews about nuclear and hydro energy can also be found here.

Monthly Oil Outlook (www.iea.org)

Web site of the International Energy Agency.  It contains various information about energy statistics, outlook, and reports. Exciting statistics about power electricity, oil, natural gas, and refined product can be found on this web site.  It also has important analyses about coal, electricity, natural gas and nuclear power, and concerns about the environment.

Energy Information Administration, Department of Energy Monthly Short Term Outlook www.eia.doe.gov  

An energy information administration web site with very detailed information about all sources of energy, from the global statistic of fuels (refined product, NG, nuclear, etc) to very specific country or even regions energy overview and supply and demand issues.  It also gives some unique statistics about energy distribution by sector and very essential information about the world environment.

This is the official web site for the International Association for Energy Economics. It gives information about the association’s activities, recent conferences and publications.  It also has links to very important energy related sites, from consulting firms to energy related course work links.

Monthly, annual, statistical reports www.opec.org

The web site for OPEC, it gives an introduction to the organization, its member countries, historical information, and the organization’s function and views.  It has links to oil market related news, announcements, and publications.  The OPEC annual report also can be found on this web page.  Listed In the FAQ section is very important information about OPEC and the world’s oil.

Energy Channel www.petrieparkman.com

This is an Energy Channel with very useful information about the commodity prices such as crude oil, natural gas, unleaded gasoline and propane. Expected future pricing for oil and natural gas is also found on this web site.   Moreover, it shows recent energy related news and has an instant tracking to the energy stocks.

US Geological Survey www.usgs.gov       

This is the U.S. Geological Survey’s web site.  Different from others, this site concentrates on nature’s role in the energy market.  It covers the biological resources, geological information, and water resources in the United States specifically.  It also has valuable statistics and information about natural occurring phenomena such as earthquakes, floods and volcanoes.

This is the site for Hart Energy Publications.  It includes Hart’s E&P and World Fuels Report, both of which provide excellent analyses of financial, market and industry data.
