Joint Programs with other Institutions
Institut Français du Pétrole
The IFP School has an exchange agreement with OU. Students begin the program at the University of Oklahoma (OU) in the fall semester of an academic year. Students must satisfy all OU & IFP requirements in order to graduate. Both OU and IFP School will independently assess degree candidates and decide whether or not to award a degree. (We recommend that students apply and receive the OU degree first and then the IFP degree afterwards). A decision to award a degree from one of the institutions does not obligate the other institution to award a degree. However, students enrolled in this degree program in the fall at OU may attend the spring and summer semesters at IFP School and earn transferable credit applicable to OU from the courses listed. Students can earn a maximum of 12 transferable credit hours from IFP School to OU. Students must then return to OU in the fall to complete the MEE program.

See the PDF Flyer
Students are welcome to take transferable courses at IFP. Courses are limited to 10- 12 credit hours and credit transfer will be at the discretion of MEE and OU. Courses chosen must constitute in their entirety a coherent program designed to attain a defined objective.
