Goals of the Program

The MEE Program is designed to develop young professionals to become energy analysts and managers. This degree is for those who expect to pursue a managerial career in the energy business or government and prefer a course of study that emphasizes the applications of energy economics to the problems of these areas.

It is a unique interdisciplinary program in which the candidates are recruited from the energy, science, business, and economics areas, and then trained in applied areas like energy economics, finance, and strategic energy business analysis, with an overview of geology and petroleum geology. Many of the candidates usually have previous internships and work experience when recruited into the MA in Managerial Energy Economics.

The program is especially attractive to international students and companies, providing an extraordinary experience to the graduates, in particular those participating in  the joint program with IFP in France.
