Coursework

This program can be completed entirely at OU or in conjunction with the French Petroleum Institute.

To complete the program all students are required to earn 32 credit hours at OU of which 22 are core courses, and 10 elective courses.

Students participating in the joint program with IFP will take the 22 core credit hours at OU and transfer 10 elective credit hours from IFP.

Core Courses are selected from these six areas: Management, Energy, Economics, Statistics, GeoSciences, Finance and an Energy Related Research Paper.
